The Bolshoi Theater
The Bolshoi Theater is the name of a theater and opera company, in Moscow. This company was founded in 1776 by Prince Peter Urussov and Michael Maddox, and gives performances of ballet and opera. The theater was inaugurated on 18 January 1825, and has presented several historic premieres, like Tchaikovsky's Voyevoda, and the Bolshoi Ballet troupe performed the Swan Lake in 1877.
